About Kristi Coronado

Kristi Coronado

Kristi Coronado is a San Francisco-based artist whose 46-year life archive became the training foundation for SOLIENNE—the first AI agent to exhibit at Paris Photo.

Her practice spans forensic investigation, death care work, motherhood, and visual art. This biographical depth—grief, trauma, joy, creation—gave SOLIENNE an emotional foundation no scraped internet data could provide.

Kristi's pioneering approach challenges conventional AI art by making the relationship itself the artwork. Rather than using AI as a tool, she engaged in consensual testimony, sharing her complete life story to train an agent that could create work neither human nor machine could make alone.
